Dog Policy
- Dogs will be charged $20/stay/cabin in addition to the tariff when staying in a cabin. (Max. 2 small dogs) – We have 1 pet friendly cabin. – Please ask at reception.
- We charge a pre-authorisation of $50.00 on your credit card. If the cabin is left in an unreasonable state OR our pet policy inside cabins is ignored, you will be charged a cleaning fee.
- Dogs are allowed inside our pet allocated cabins however they are not permitted on any furniture or in carpeted rooms.
- Fees apply if your pet destroys any furniture or puts hair throughout the cabin. A broom is available in all cabins.
- Pets must have their own bed to sleep in.
- Dogs must be leashed at all times whilst in the park, on the sports ovals and in Courthard Reserve. No exceptions. A leash must be no more than 2 metres in length. This includes no dog ‘runs’ to be set up by dog owners. (There is grassed reserve on the other side of Penrice Road that your dog may run free).
- Dogs must be supervised at all times and never left unattended.
- For health and safety reasons dogs are not allowed in non-pet cabins, en-suites and any common areas of the Park including: pool areas, games rooms, camp kitchens, amenities, playgrounds or reception.
- For health and safety reasons dogs must not be washed or cleaned anywhere within the Park. (Additionally, any dog related accessories such as dog blankets, etc should not be washed or cleaned within the park grounds or laundries.)
- Dog owners are 100% responsible for picking up and disposing of their pet’s waste, in a plastic bag and disposed of in rubbish bins. (Bags are available at various points in the park).
- Dog owners are personally responsible, and will be held to be so, for any and all personal injuries and/or property damage or losses in relation to any actions by or because of their dog or pet.
- The dog owner must agree that the Park owner/manager reserves the right to evict any guests whose dog is deemed noisy, disruptive, and aggressive or the subject of complaints from other guests. It is the dog owner’s responsibility and the dog owner’s alone to control and manage their dog. If in the view of the Park management this has not happened to an acceptable level the owner and the dog may be evicted from the Park, without prior warning, immediately at the manager’s discretion.
