Bike and Walking Trails

Step outside and feel the Barossa at its purest. The air is crisp, the mornings bright, and the land full of quiet charm. Ride your bike along country backroads that wind past old stone cottages, farm gates and rows of vines heavy with promise. Lace up your boots and take to the trails of the Kaiserstuhl, where the bush opens to sweeping views and the scent of eucalyptus fills the air. Stop for a loaf from the local baker, a chat with the butcher, or a sip from a cellar door tucked behind the vines. Here, life slows to the rhythm of the land — inviting you to breathe deep, explore freely, and rediscover the simple pleasures of the Barossa.

Barossa Bushwalks

The Barossa Valley region isn’t just about wine—it’s also home to a rich network of bushwalking trails that suit everyone from relaxed strollers to seasoned hikers. There are seventeen key walks throughout the Barossa, that vary in length and difficulty, weaving through native vegetation, vineyard edges and historic mining sites.
These trails don’t just offer scenic views—they also carry cultural significance: many traverse land care sites, restored reserves, and conservation areas that commemorate both Indigenous heritage and early settler industries.
Whether you’re after a gentle one-kilometre stroll through the tranquil Barossa Bushgardens or a more challenging nine-kilometre hike in Warren Conservation Park with sweeping lookout views, the Barossa offers the perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature and explore its diverse landscapes.”
